You can also see and play what your friends are listening to. You can even listen together with Listen Along (Premium only).

To show/hide Friend Activity: Click in the top-right corner and select Settings. Under Display Options, switch Show Friend Activity on (green), or off (gray). Note: Your Spotify desktop window needs to be at least 1190 pixels wide for the friend feed to show.

On my profile and in servers, it doesn't say I am listening to Spotify unless I'm logged in on a desktop version as well. My friends can't see it either. And yes, I have the option to display on profile checked, and I don't have anything taking priority over it. (hence it showing on PC). Head to your Google Play Store’s Settings and tap Auto-update apps. Here you can choose to only automatically update when connected to WiFi to save your data. Update manually. Open the Google Play Store. Use the search bar to find Spotify. Tip: If no update option is visible, your app is on the latest version. Get started

1. On desktop, download the Discord app and open it.
2. Click Connections in the menu on the left.
3. Click Spotify.
4. A web page will open to connect. If you’re not already logged into Spotify on the device, you’re directed to log in or sign up first.
5. Click CONFIRM to confirm.

Once you’ve connected Spotify to your Discord account, you can choose to display what you’re listening to in real time on your profile.

To disconnect

1. Click Connections in the menu on the left of the Discord desktop app.
2. Click Spotify.
3. Click X in the top left of the green box.
4. Click Disconnect to confirm.

1. On desktop, open the Discord desktop app.
2. Click someone that’s Listening to Spotify from your list of friends on the right.
3. Click the Listen Along icon .
